Psalm 12:6-8

⁶ The words of the Lord are pure words,
like silver refined in an earthen furnace,
purified seven times.^(A)

⁷ You, Lord, will guard us;^[a]
You will protect us^[b] from this generation forever.^(B)
8 The wicked wander^[c] everywhere,
and what is worthless is exalted by the human race.^(C)
